Like the terminator. Ronda Rousey, who was knocked out by fellow undefeated UFC boxer Holly Holm during UFC 193 this weekend, addressed her loss via Instagram on Sunday, Nov. 15.

"I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support," Rousey, 28, wrote to her 6.5 million Instagram followers. "I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I'm fine. As I had mentioned before, I'm going to take a little bit of time, but I'll be back."

Prior to her loss, Rousey made numerous threats against Holm, 34, and even refused to touch gloves prior to their epic face-off in the ring. "Fake ass cheap shotting fake respect fake humility bitch," Rousey captioned a video of herself getting in Holm's face on the day of the fight, Nov. 14. "'Preacher's daughter' my ass - I see through your fake sweet act now - you're getting your ass kicked tomorrow, and I'm really going to enjoy the beating I give you #andSTILL."

Only it happened in reverse. Holm knocked out Rousey with a kick to the head in the second round of the fight, and the crowd was shocked. Rousey was favored to win the fight and was unbeaten with 12 UFC wins prior to Saturday's fight against Holm.

In a post-game interview, Holm addressed her historic win. "She's won a lot of fights and imposed her will on a lot of fighters," the New Mexico native said. "So I expected her to be aggressive and impose her will on me. She had me on the cage for a minute and obviously she was trying in for a takedown right there ... she had a lot of things she was trying so I'm just glad I put in the practice. We figured her aggression was coming, if it didn't that's okay, but with footwork and my career we figured she wouldn't give me that space. There's been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears but it was all worth it."

Rousey, meanwhile, was treated on the canvas and later admitted to a nearby hospital in Melbourne, Australia, for a concussion and facial lacerations.

Her trainer Mike Dolce also spoke to reporters about Rousey's defeat. "Ronda has lost before, she lost at the Olympic games," Dolce said on Monday, Nov. 16. "That was a great test for her, and look at how she came back, she came back a multi-time world champion."
