Olympic Athletes: Where Are They Now?
Phelps, 30, and fiancee Nicole Johnson announced their happy baby news via Instagram on Wednesday, Nov. 18 but according to the most decorated Olympic athlete in history, the pair already have loads to plan for. (The pair got engaged this past February.)
Itll be a different process going into this Olympics and I think its just one that Im looking forward to and were excited about, he said, adding that their son, who is due in May, will most likely be joining them in Rio for the 2016 Olympics.

Phelps had initially retired from the sport in 2012, but announced in 2014 that he will be returning to the Olympics his fourth to compete next year.
And while Johnson, 29, has been his main source of support throughout his training, he admitted that the tables have somewhat turned now that Johnson needs his help as well.

Pregnancy brain really does exist, he told Us. I thought that was just a myth! Pretty wild. Were just doing what we always do, just supporting one another with everything. Nicole and I have had a long history and were just better than ever and I guess better now than we ever have been.
