And while the Big Bang Theory actress, who separated from husband Ryan Sweeting in September, was determined to step out to support the pups Cuoco has two pit bulls at home she still became emotional while kicking off the event.
"My two pits have made this last year so much better for me," Cuoco, 29, told the audience, which included her tablemates Lacey Chabert, her sister, Briana, and Amy Davidson.
An onlooker tells Us that while, "Tears glistened in her eyes, she quickly pulled it together and moved forward."
Indeed, Cuoco, who wore a striped dress teamed with a moto jacket, chain purse, and booties, seemed determined to enjoy her girls' night out. Not only did she spend time playing with the pit bulls on the red carpet, but she also hung out with the ladies at her table, drinking white wine and munching on finger foods.
After the event, the 8 Simple Rules alum took to Instagram, sharing a sweet snap with one of the pits. "Amazing night supporting #standupforpits @rebeccacorry #angel #adoptdontshop styling @mrbradgoreski @daniela_viviana hair @derekpeterw makeup @kmannmakeup," she wrote, shouting-out her glam squad.
