Out with Arby's, in with Budapest! Pharrell Williams started another awards-show uproar on Twitter during his "Happy" performance at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards and not because of his yellow glitter sneakers. The music producer stepped out in an outfit that looked awfully similar to the lobby bellboy uniform used in the Oscar-nominated film The Grand Budapest Hotel.
Williams, 41, showed off his legs in black shorts, but it was his Chanel jacket and hat that stood out during the set. He wore a tight long-sleeve top with several gold buttons, and a black hat with a chin strap. (The lobby bellboy, Zero, in the Wes Anderson-directed movie is played by Tony Revolori.)
The star, who already won for Best Pop Solo Performance Sunday night, turned heads in a now-classic getup last year too. At the 2014 Grammys, he summoned the Arby's logo thanks to his large Vivienne Westwood hat.
"Hey @Pharrell, can we have our hat back? #GRAMMYs," the fast food chain tweeted to him at the time. He quipped back: "Y'all tryna start a roast beef?"
